Meet LenvyTE - the calmer way to track travel expenses with friends.

Every great trip ends the same way: someone opens a notes app, squints at a stack of UPI screenshots, and tries to remember who paid for the cab from the airport. LenvyTE exists to make that moment disappear. It is a collaborative travel expense tracker built for solo travellers, friend groups, families, and small teams who want to enjoy the trip - not the spreadsheet afterwards.

Why we built LenvyTE

Existing expense apps treat travel like an afterthought: generic categories, no approval flow, and reports that look like raw exports. Group trips have a different rhythm. People pay for each other, plans change mid-route and at the end someone has to do the awkward math. LenvyTE was designed from day one around three ideas:

  • A trip is a shared space, not a personal ledger.
  • The person who created the trip should always stay in control of what gets recorded.
  • The final report should be beautiful enough to share - and accurate to the rupee.

A tour of the features

Solo or group trips

Create a Goa weekend with three friends or a solo Himalayan trek - the same flow handles both. Pick a trip type, set a group size and add named members so every expense knows who it belongs to.

Categorized expenses

Log spends under clear titles like Travel, Stay, Food, Activities, and Shopping. Add a description, the amount in INR and (for group trips) who paid. The chart updates the moment you save.

Creator approval flow

Collaborators you invite by email can add expenses, but they stay pending until the trip creator approves them. Reject with a reason if something looks off. Nothing sneaks into the final total.

Fair splits, automatically

LenvyTE computes equal per-person shares, who paid what, who owes whom and suggests the minimum number of settlements to close the trip out. No more group-chat arguments.

Live insights

A glass-styled donut chart breaks every trip down by category, so you can see at a glance whether food or activities ran away with the budget.

One-click PDF reports

Export a complete trip summary - totals, per-person split, every approved expense and the chart - as a clean PDF you can share in WhatsApp or email.

How a typical trip flows

  1. Create the trip, choose Group and add your travellers.
  2. Invite collaborators by email so they can log on the road.
  3. Everyone adds expenses as they happen - pending ones land in the creator's queue.
  4. The creator approves, rejects, or edits. The chart and splits update live.
  5. Back home, hit Export PDF and settle up in minutes.

Designed for the way you actually travel

LenvyTE ships with two themes - Day Vision for sunlit cafés and Night Vision for late-night reconciliations on a sleeper train. The UI is glassmorphic, mobile first and never asks you to pinch-zoom on a 360px screen. Auth is handled with email plus Google sign-in and your data is protected row-by-row so only your trip's members ever see your numbers.

What's next

We're working on multi-currency support, recurring expenses for long trips and a per-trip activity feed so you can see exactly when an expense was added, approved, or edited. If there's a feature you'd love, tell us - LenvyTE is built in the open with its travellers.
